I hope that time passes by for this treatment quickly Terry and that you are all fixed up with no more problems very soon. Good luck, my thoughts are with you.

Really hope the treatment isn't too severe and eventually all will be well. All the best mate.

Please accept my very best wishes for a speedy recovery, Terry. Don't do stupid things like working in a workshop that's as cold as Iceland, but then again, don't let the treatment get you down so that you do nothing but feel sorry for yourself.
And revise that saying on your avatar to, "I have not failed. Instead I have found 10000 ways that WILL work!" Good luck, matey!

    Bob.

Hope all goes well for you Terry. Get in the shed on the good days for that much needed therapy and hopefully will give something to look forward to on the bad days. Just take care

I hope it all goes well Terry and you need to relax as much as you can and turn when you can.

    Hope it goes well mate.

SWMBO had chemo following the breast cancer diagnosis, the most traumatic bit for her was the hair loss but I guess for 2 reasons that's not too bad if you're bloke and you have hair to lose in the first place

On a more serious note it used to knock the crap out of her energy levels for about 24 hours straight after, but then she was pretty much normal and able to do more or less whatever she liked.

You do have to be a bit more careful around people who are ill and kids as the other side effect is your immune system is pretty much wiped out. But I'm sure they'll explain all that stuff.

So, I wouldn't expect it would put much of a damper on your turning possibilities to be honest.
