    Update after my operation.

I was at hospital on Monday to see the doctor for the results of my biopsy and to see how my wounds were progressing. After the removal of the tumour another 3 lymph nodes out of 17 proved to have microscopic cancerous cells and these were removed.
Yesterday I was back at the hospital to the Oncology section and I have to have 12 treatments of chemotherapy lasting 6 months to ensure their are no rogue cells left. This will start probably next week.
How this will affect my turning I have no idea but I'll keep popping up on the forum. !!!

    Regards

    Terry

Not nice to contemplate 6 months of treatment but you're a strong macho Geordie, you'll get through it.
Best wishes Terry, at least you'll have an excuse to sit down whilst you're at the lathe.

Terry take care mate going in for a biopsy next week of my cancer plus a look up the water works. Wilma when she had the chemo elected to have the long dose less often to enable time to mend between doses ie 8hr sessions they took 26 lymph glands plus heaps of other bits. She has had glowing reports ever since mate be assured we look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards Peter.

Well at least you won't lose your hair through the chemo, seeing as how it's already gone

Best wishes on the treatment Terry.
