We had a good run with the original thread with some excellent posts added to it. Now to keep the page loading quickly it is time to start a new one ..

Off to pick up a Dehumidifier from Screwfix, then plan to be in the workshop all day pottering about but mainly to get the new bandsaw up and running and hopefully start on connecting up the dust extraction ..

Well today is a case of unloading a map draw unit which is very heavy and put it in it's temporary location, then I may get a little time in the shed.

Going up the Shed after lunch with my Grandson. He is doing woodturning as part of his Duke of Edinburgh Award and wants some more practice. I might introduce him to the Omega and get him to make a Rollerball for himself

Well managed to get the draw unit into a temporary place for the time being even with all the draws removed it was Bl***y heavy myself and the wife managed it luckily I have a sack truck to move it from the car to its resting place.
It Measures 49"long 23"tall and 33"deep and mostly made from hardwoods. This was originally made in Fitzroy Australia

Then I managed to do some sanding on a bandsawn box and split a 4" log in half to see what it might produce will cut into pen blanks tomorrow and see properly
