Hi guys...here we have 2 cartridge case fountain pens one is .500 NE and the nickle is .470 NE i used a magnetic cap from a Zen kit for that20170622_180722.jpg:ciggrin:

The nickel is my favouritee. The black section looks pretty cool on it in my opinion.

I have done a .500ne before the .470 is different....its finding bits that fit all the many different calibers:wink:

I bought a lot of Chinese pens a year ago for this purpose, really cheap makes these real easy to make they fit to perfection. If this sounds strange all the kit pens come really cheap to wholesalers, initially I was paying 80 cents Au for Slimlines branch plated as a small buyer of hundreds.Branch plating often called upgrade.

Like your two pens with Cartridge caps.

I did a bunch Norma .470 Nitro Express ball points for a local taxidermist that
was going back to Africa to give to his guides.

Are these once fired or new casings? I can't imagine the thumping you would get firing me of those. They make impressive pens.

These are old once fired cases....i can get new, but there just not the same as used....:thinks:
