This one was SO much fun to make! I saw a blank made by Jason Olson ( #writeturnz on Instagram). I loved it. I have no manners. (I actually have lots of them – they are just all bad ones.) “Hey, Jason – can I have one of those blanks?” (Rude. I know.) Next thing I know, a box full of them shows up with a message, “Send back what you don’t use,” so I did. I also included this pen. The kindness and show of trust from one custom pen maker to another warranted a pen, right? The blank is a wooly mammoth tusk cast in resin by Jason. Domed finials and mammoth clip are nickel. Bock #6 nib…

(Postscript: This really was a tongue-in-cheek sort of thing. I didn't take an "elephant pocket clip" too seriously, but the new owner is pretty pleased!)

Thank you, all. Probably not the pen I would want to carry every day, but it was fun to engineer through the construction. I learned some new tricks along the way too. Time to do it again! Thanks again. I appreciate t he kind words.
