Hi all, well here are two Mik Lawrence blanks.....Yes both... One is a playing card on a Zen pen, the other is Huon pine On a Zen..... Apparently it's a very rare Tasmanian big pine....well it smelt really nice drilling and turning....it was very resinous and I love it, I really hoped to do it justice IMG_20190304_153321.jpg

Your hopes came to fruition - you really did do them justice.

(A bit more light in your photo thought Mark, and we could see that playing card pen a bit better too) :whistling:

My great love of Huon Pine Burl in all its glory right there Mark, getting harder to find these days. This outstanding example you have done everything to show it,happy for the upgrade photo that gives light into the pen from Phil. Also the playing card gives an abstract pen that deserves attention. Happy for you and MIK,thanks for showing and sharing mate.

Peter.
