    Bog Oak Hybrid

I have been selling a fair bit of this blank so thought it was worth a turn. Came up beautifully with a hint of pink shimmer thrown in to the mix. Its on a retro kit and although the bog oak looks very dark in the pictures is actually rather dark in real life too

Nice colours and the whole thing seems to match together well.

    Looks great.
Is it your lighting that make the finish look a bit rough with sanding rings?

It is, its a strange one. The Bog Oak is more end grain than cross grain, so i think that is what you are seeing. I am struggling to get a decent light on my shots which is annoying. I have tried putting some photo cloth over the LED to disperse the light but i struggle. the pen itself was sanded to 400 cross blank then abrasive paste to clean it up. then hit with 12 layers of CA and finally micro meshed to 12k, i couldnt get the thing shinier if i tried haha
