Benefits of an annual hunting trip. Great salami and kabernossi, and now I can use the tusks as well. A good tusk will measure about 30 cm, of which the outer half is solid.

Very nice job, it's got a few flecks in it too which adds to it... really nice job.....if you keep your shot cases I'll teach you how to turn them too:face::face:

I have to believe this material was on the difficult side to turn. What tools did you use? What was your sanding protocol? Great souvenir souvenir of a successful hunt. Awesome pen.

Similar to resin, slightly harder. Sanded down to 4000 and finished with some plasticX (I think it's called). Most difficult part is the smell - just like being in the dentist's chair.
