Her Indoors needs some new spinning wheel bobbins. So had a play in the shed this afternoon and came up with this.
The shaft is Oak and the drive shaft and other bit are made from Ash

Looks good what model spinning wheel is it from as there are so many different models from different parts of the country

When we bought the spinning wheel off flea-bay we hadn't got a clue what make it was.
Luckily a friend of ours is the countries leading authority in spinning wheels.
She lot us it is an "Eliza Leadbeater" wheel :thumbs:
