Fresh of the lathe today a 9" x 8 sided Oak Tazza to go with the other 8 sided pieces I made last week I had to improvise with the stem and make it with two pieces as I didnt have a piece wide enough to cover the recess on the bottom of the bowl all I had was a piece of Oak 2" x 1 3/8" so I cut a piece off it 2" x 2" x 1 3/8" and turned the top section with a spigot to fit in and over the recess and another piece of 1 1/4" square for the rest of the stem the photos of it on the lathe are how I glue all the parts together so far it has had 1 coat of Teak oil it should be finished some time next week
