Hi All,
Just finished this and given it the first coat of Danish Oil.
Another couple of coats and I will be ready for the Club Open Day on Saturday.

You are a talented man Don. I hope they don't lynch you at you club for the St George Cross. Cry Harry, and all that. That's a great piece, and like Jim said, I hadn't realised you had so many strings to your bow.

Faced many a lady like that mate you were able to transcribe and bring out the best with your part in the impressive production. In my experience you captured the essence of a female Dragon conjures up images of Knights of bold and coming home late from the battle celebrations. Quite a tail. Just shewed SWMBO a lifetime drawer of Dragons who appreciated your work.

Peter. Have a good open day at the Club try not to be late home.:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Thanks for your comments Jim, but as I am sure you know, this forum is about sharing
I am quite sure there are members on here who have thought of Pyro as a little diversion. It is easy (ish)
This is a little practice piece, I have in mind using this as a corner piece on a chess board. I have the wood ready and the design traced out. I just did this to see how the pattern would work.
I have already drawn and turned some of the chess pieces and hopefully will have the whole chess board and pieces made for next years show. :nooidea:
I will see if I have a picture of the board later.

That looks very impressive. The way you have captured the expression on the face of the dragon is superb.
