hello folks
here are some workshop pics a couple of ash hollow forms which I have made recently.
A chainsawn piece was put between centres
some spalting visible on the end grain
It was cut in half and mounted in some gripper jaws
hollowed and ready to sand
after sanding I use a protective coat of lemon oil, this prevents mucky finger print marks but doesn't seal the surface so the piece can still dry naturally.
