hello folks

here are two new boxes that I have made recently.

first is a piece of Australian york gum burr with a blue/gold resin






next is a piece of stabilised & dyed burr horse chestnut with a white resin

Love the definition in the first one only but thats me George. The burl is amazing if the second one was all rich cream it would be as exciting to me. The second one for a shaving brush handle would be outstanding.

Lovely George, like the shape of the boxes, nicely balanced. Are they designed as a pocket box, with a plop lid or a loose fit lid? How big are they?

Two beauties George, i would find it hard to choose a favourite, both do it for me .. :wink:
