It took 18 months of planning and research to get it to this point and it is still not "finished".
Everything but the stepper motors, drivers and power supply was recycled\in the garage.

Next project could be a CNC lathe or perhaps a 3d printer... who knows?
The pens are keeping my attention at the mo, once I have built up my skills I may have a go at some other larger turned projects.

The video is a bit boring for the first few minutes = it is cutting all the inside holes, then with the final cut the piece reveals itself a bit like the way the pens hide themselves within the blanks - just waiting to be released.

Danny when someone suggests lets go for a burn it conjures up heaps of ideas yours is a new one to me I was transfixed mate. Love it.
