Here is a video of 8 demos at the French AFTAB 2014 conference among which is Paul Texier's spiky ball among others (and his handmade tools), yet again ignore the language if you don't speak it in the main it gives certain technicalities but the demos are self evident. You can of course fast forward to the bits you like.
