    coloured hollow form

    Hi guys
    Another form from me, this is a first for me as I have never coloured anything before nor turned a finial. Anyway its approx. 9" high x 4" at its widest, sorry again for quality of pics, c&c welcome as usual

    Lovely. The colouring is fab! The first finial is fantastic too! I like the form too - nice movement in the curve.

    Hi Paul the form was sealed then sprayed with ebonising lacquer, then I mixed the violet jo-Sonja iridescent paint with flow medium dabbed a bit on at a time and with an air brush I pushed the paint around then finished with clear lacquer, the finial was just a scrap piece that was turned and ebonised with the same lacquer
