It looks very good Miles, I can appreciate the work that goes into the making of the blank and the care needed to survive the turning, I have to hand it to you. :thumbs::thumbs:

Never tried a pencil turning before, can appreciate the effort that's gone in to that.

Turned out quite nice and the contrasting timbers work well.

Nice one Miles. What did you use to glue the pencils, I also like that you have made the band of pencils using the segmented way of building it so that you get the ends showing all around plus you don't need to use as many pencils.

Good old CA glue, you just need to make sure that it's all nice and tight with a bit of accelerator to help it all along

Then I ran it through a bandsaw and then clamped and glued the teak to it before clamping and glueing it to the padauk
