That looks amazing Don:thumbs:

As I explained at the time, this was made from Maple (pretty soft) and the aluminium can was sandwiched between 2 pieces of 0.5 mm Wenge.
On the final sanding the Maple started picking up dust and turned black. I had to recut with the skew to clean up

Very nice. I didn't realise that there was another wood.

I wonder if that was the aluminium that made the black marks?
When I put the key ring on the mops it left black streaks on the cloth mop.
