So Using my CNC Router machine
I have managed a practice piece using MDF to make this Large Welsh Dragon emblem. 18 inches x 12 inches .
Now to make this with name of house on a solid piece of Oak.

Hats off to you sir, I still liken CNC to wizardry with electomarticity......nice job!
Good luck with the Oak one....unlike the laser engravers it should leave an oak finish not black:whistling:

Can't wait to see the finished piece Tom, not least of all because my tiny mind doesn't understand how you would router that out and still have all the detached details in place. Does the router go all the way through front to back?

(can you tell I'm not good at conceptualising this?)

Excellent stuff mate

If you want to paint infill the text and picture use some transfer tape to cover the Oak sign first then do the job.

Provided your router bit is nice and sharp you should be able to infill it with a nice colour to suit.

Sorry for being so stupid, but I can't see where the CNC Router has cut ?? Did the router cut into the MDF to any depth ??
Does a low angle picture show the cuts any better ??
Sorry about this.

take care
