OK so I got into working with wood a bit by accident, working as a signmaker I bought an old spares or repair CNC knowing that I would be able to rebuild it with my engineering experience. The idea was to produce flat cut letters & sign trays & possibly offer a trade service for those.
BUT then I dicovered all the other really good things that it could do, my direction changed which led to me buying more woodworking equipment lol

So started doing some hand turning but when it comes to selling there is a lot of competition & prices don't seem to reflect the work that has gone into things so I looked at making items that couldn't be produced by hand turning alone.

Martin the lettering you used is unknown to me for your mediical conditions, Congratulations on finding your niche in woodworking,rising above the devastations in life all round. I will always look fok for your work,it is outstanding IMHO excellent.

thanks for all the great comments, the CNC changed a lot of things for me, as I said in the first post I wanted it to do sign related work. After I had rebuilt it & had it running I found all the other things you could do with them which are much more fun lol, it has actually done very little sign work in the time I have had it. My youngest Granddaughters Birthday on Saturday so I have made her a Jigsaw, 9 pieces so hopefully won't be to difficult for her to figure out. Only problem with 3D is it takes so long to cut lol

Thanks, this is the jigsaw for Iris, still need to give it a finish but thinking food safe oil as she is only one & still inclined to eat everything lol
