Made a wine bottle stopper some time ago with a little CNC machined Bird on the top, my Mum really liked the wooden Bird & asked if I could make a couple for her but without the wine bottle stopper, taken me ages to get round to doing this but finally got them done. One Beech, One American White Ash & One American Black Walnut. The Walnut one is actually 2 pieces of wood glued together because I didn't have any thick enough, that one came out better than expected, you can't really see the join. Duid get a bit of tear out on the tail, probably could have prevented that if I had slowed the machine down.
Set small magnets in the bottom of these so they stand up.

Thanks for the comments people, I did actually make a bird table at one of the Help for Heroes craft days but that is now in my Son's garden so my Granddaughter can feed the birds.
