Made this from Field maple burnt decoration then ebonised foot and finial finished with acrylic sander sealer followed by an acrylic satin finish

That is incredible! How did you get the black branches up the side? Im a such for danger myself so thought it may have been burnt in for a second. Looks stunning! That finial is to die for!

Hi William and thank you, the design was burnt on with a pyrography machine and NOT using the Lichtenberg method as that just would scare the pants off of me.

haha people do get a bit distant to me when i mention i play with electrics and water! Do not fear, I shan't be posting anything on here (unless you want me too) I normally respond by saying it is up to the individual whether or not they do something in their own sheds. My wife however wants to give pyrography a go. she had a go at a turner friend of mines house. My hands would be killing after a few minutes as I have carpel tunnel in both hands. :(
