Well, a something of a dilemma. It's rarely happened in the past, but this week we have a tie for first place, so I guess it falls to me to cast a deciding vote.

Both pens are excellent for their different reasons in my view, and I find it hard to split them. However, Ash has occupied the front page for the last five wins, (and I know he's a really nice bloke and won't mind a bit), so I don't believe I'm acting out of turn by awarding first place to irtuk for his winning pen http://www.penturners.co.uk/acrylic-turned-pens/24655-number-ten.html

It's a beautifully made custom pen in my opinion, and is the latest incarnation of the shape and design that Ed has been developing and honing over the past several weeks.

Congratulations therefore go to Ed, whose pen will will feature on the Forum's front page until the next winner is decided.

oh wow, I cant say that I haven't been watching this forum closely, but, just wow! thankyou so much for all the support, from everyone in my journey so far. Some incredible work on offer this last week so I am just overawed to be on the front page.

I have ordered up some silversmithing supplies because I think I need to be sporting clips so it might be a while before I get to 11 but once again, thanks and huge respect to everyone else who offered up a pen this week.

Ed.
