    September 2016 Competition Entries

Here are the competition Entries for the September 2016 Competition. Please don't tick the Like Box and please don't comment on any individual pen until after the voting ends. The Voting will end on Wednesday 5th. October at Midnight.

Phil has mastered the voting software and so the re-introduction of the Nomination/Voting Box will be in place sometime of Saturday so please just wait until you see it is available. Here is a link to show you how to use the Nomination Box.

Every member can vote once for the pen they think is the best, for whatever reason. You can't vote for your own pen.

Good luck to everyone who entered the competition, you are all pioneers.

    Peter

Pic 1. Shows the way the two Dental Drills have been used with Burrs in place.

Pic 2. After the Air and Water lines etc have been removed. Sleeved and brass tubes fitted, Winder Mech and Biro installed. Biro out.

Pic 3. Biro is wound out and locked by the Silver Drill, then retracted in this Pic 3.

The Black unit is normally joined to a Micro Motor as can the Silver one in the past.

If you take the mouth piece off - I mean the cap - it displays the nib and you can write with the pen. But if you unscrew the section and replace the mouth piece, it is a recorder, playable within one octave, a bit false in the lower notes though.

Made of boxwood, unknown aussie wood, red cedar.

After a hard day of magical research, the one thing every wizard needs a fine pen to write down their findings. Presenting the wand pen, made from (I think) Blackwood, with a textured Purpleheart handle. Finished with melamine lacquer.

Some stunning ideas here people, well done....

Sorry I missed this one Peter, family bereavement took over this month.
Will get the pen made I planned for this comp and post, I've put too much time into the design to give up on it.
Me: For the first time in my life, things seem to be getting better.....
Life: LOL, give me a second!
