Sourcing Vertex Click Pen in Gold in the EU / US Import

Morning all,

My dear ole' Mums birthday is coming up in May and she'd like a pen made by me, after meandering through ums and aahs over woods it turned to kits. Due to her MS she can't operate a twist pen so a clicker it needs to be. I researched threads here and the general consensus seems to be that the Stratus and Vertex kits have the best mechanisms. After showing her both of those the interest was for the Vertex in Gold, which it turns out would be the only one I can't seem to source in the UK/EU after spending a night hunting. I'm going to source some Stratus ones from Dan @ TaylorsMirfield in-case she changes her mind when test holding them.

I've found the gold kit in the US at Rockler (http://www.rockler.com/vertex-click-pen-hardware-kit-24k-gold) and postage isn't too bad if I order a couple of other kits too, import duty and VAT is a given.

Has anyone ordered from them before from over here, or have any other suggestions for EU sources / recommended US companies to deal with?

I should have added that I've found a few vendors for the Chrome/Gun Metal versions in the UK and have a friend interested in one of those, but to match the wood my Mums picked though she wants the Gold finish which is the sticky one to find it seems.

Thanks Woody but that looks like the pencil kit not a pen kit? Also looks like I forgot to specify in my first post

Oh dear... I've just figured it out

I was hitting the 'Vertex Pens' link under the pen kits section and then seeing four products but not clicking in to the sub-categories 'Kits'.

Look to the finished Pen mate.
