    I thought it was about time I turned something so dug this wood out from the pile a little disappointed as it took me two hours to turn need to turn more. Finished with sander sealer and woodwax22 size is 6" X 1 3/4".

    An Accoya bowl with finger joint down the middle, treated differently depending which side you're on. 5 1/4" x 2 3/4" inch finished in food safe oil.

    A couple of bowls and a platter. For the first time in over 10 years I had to buy blanks for the bowls!:rolling: Ash natural edge 12" x 5" Beech 11 3/4" x 4" And finally a Silver Birch Platter 18" x 1 1/2"

    I have been working on this in between doing other bits today that is after the one where the lid decided to do the splits. Made from London plane with a Laburnum insert in the lid it stands 2 3/4" X 2 1/4". Still need to make 4 more well there is always tomorrow. This is the longest I have...

    My first piece of proper turning for a while I spent just under an hour in there and it was cool enough to go into the shed this morning so decided to turn one of my London Plane blanks that I have the finished bowl is 8 3/4" X 1 3/4"

    Oak Kitchen worktp dishes

    Made these 4 dishes up this afternoon out of Oak laninated kitchen worktop that my mate Brian (Grump) gave me they are all 8" x 1 3/4" I will be taking them to Blind veterans UK on Thursday

    All made with Oak kitchen worktop one 16" x 1 3/4" one 12" and the last one 8" all finished with spray lacquer 3 more to do

    Spalted Beech Bowl

    Started the day making a vase but it split, so I found this blank at the back of the wood store which was nice and dry. Very pleased with the spalting on this one so kept the shape simple to let it show. 6 3/4" X 2"
