    Case finish

    Hi All, Following on from my bullet case post... My preference for finish is just microcrystalline wax... I like these to be tactile and used and love to see patina build up on these. I have used acrylic laquer spray and Krylon (bake on spray for guns) but only if decorative finish requested...

    Stabilizing

    Scored 275 salted Sycamore blanks and now starting a marathon session to get everything stabilized. Using my high tec pickle jar stabilizing pot and Cactus Juice. I bake the blanks at 150 overnight to assure 0% moisture. It's going to take a while.
