    A trio of Ares. The blanks are blue crushed velvet. Two pens in black, one in brushed stainless steel.

    Two bowls done this afternoon the first a spalted bowl believed to be beech and the second Ash burnt on the outside and wire brushed the grain filled with "Hot Pink" wax and then a coat of woodwax over the top

    I have some ali bar which I was given. it has sat in my blank draw for quite some time OK like many of my blanks:whistling: So Ali on a gold Tempest. I was going to go for the full shine but decided it would have been just too much with the gold so went with a brushed effect, I am glad I did go...

    In the Pink

    Small hollow form 3" X 4 3/4" with an 1/2" hole sanded inside and out to 400grit then textured on the outside finished with ebonising spray and dry brushed with pink iridescent paint Ok I know it does not look pink

    Not me, I'm as scruffy as ever! :funny: A couple of Taylors Mirfield Ares in the new brushed finishes. Wych Elm and Turkey Oak sapwood finished in Melamine.

    I had picked up a bunch of different blanks from southernpendesigns on Etsy and paired them with some Siroccos just to see... ...The first is Gun Metal/Gold on a "Black Gold 31" blank ...This one is Brushed Copper dressed with "Black Gold #3" ...Brushed Pewter and "Mercury 21" ...And Gun...
