    Irish Bog meets English Oak

    Irish bog Oak on an Apprentice Gent fountain pen from Craft Supplies USA, with a Melamine Lacquer finish and in one of my 1/4 sawn English Oak boxes. Box is just buffed and polis C&C welcome.

    Green Themed.

    The Hub City Turners, a local woodturning club I belong to, will have a display of turnings at a local mall. The theme is Green.     London Plain Bowl

    Had a couple of club members over for a chat and to go over different things so I turned this while they were here. London Plain finished with sander sealer and buffed with carnauba wax. Measures 8 1/2" X 1 1.2"

    Walnut bowl

    Straight out of the workshop, punky in places but have managed to harden them up with a good dose of sander sealer(see last photo). Made from Walnut it has so much going on in the grain even some light feathering Finished with sander sealer and then buffed on a three wheel system

    Chalk holder.

    Nice simple project. Good for practicing. Polymer clay wrapped around the tube and cast in Alumilite. Sanded to 1200 grit and buffed. Alumilite & Polymer clay - YouTube

    TM Omega with Bocote.

    Also managed this one too. Sanded to 600 then sanding sealer, melamine finish and a coat of microcrystalline wax buffed with a soft cloth.

    TM Alpha rollerball

    A TM Alpha dressed in a beautiful polymer clay blank made by Natalia & sent to me to trial. It is finished with acrylic lacquer & buffed using Farecla 300/500 cream.

    Trio of Chrome/Gold TM Alpha's, 2 dressed in Lava Lamp blanks and t'other in a Lava Explosion from the "Turners Workshop". Sanded to 400, thru the MM pads then buffed.
