    turned but not assembled

    I don't post pictures as my pens aren't up to the forum standard but since I posted a picture of the crosscut London Plane blanks it seemed right to post a picture of how the grain came out once they were turned. Managed to turn these while cutting brass on the CNC, the one on the left is brown...

    As comeback to the shop after a long interruption... Give a try at the Leveche, 1) Olive ash crosscut 2) Goldfield burr 3) Zebrawood crosscut 4) Homemade serpentine Jatoba with mapple veneer All melamine and carnauba stick finish.

    1st Shakespeare attempt

    Made my first Shakespeare fountain pen today, dressed in olive ash crosscut, as usual melamine finish.
