family

I have the lathe and most of the kit I need to start making pens. Lot of info on here to read as I'm very green. So far all I've managed to create is a mess. Looking forward to creating some family heirlooms.

Bristol based - been wood turning a short time, and have been introduced to pens by a friend (oh dear!) I have made one, and suddenly seem to have a list of orders from friends and family! Various bits of kit now winging their way here from Beaufort Inks / Axminster, so will start to play!

So the big day will soon be with us. Fortunately I have made all the pens I needed to dish out as prezzies, 12 pens for 9 different people and that got me thinking, No doubt you have all made pens for all of your family and friends at Christmases gone by, and am curios to know do you give them...
