    Well the garden is still being done. Over the last couple of weeks I have been to Woodfest got the benches finished new washing line put up and removed old one one of the beds dug and weeded and an old cherry tree removed (that was today's job) Oh yes found time to turn the little box the other...

    OAP!

    Not a pensioner, but Ornamental Apple turned green and finished in Chestnut food safe oil. 5 1/2" x 1 3/4" The tree was in our front garden when we bought the house in 1991 but it had to come down in January as it was at its natural end.

    Two slimline pens made from treated pine taken from a crop end of garden decking finished in melamine. This Pen is long grain. This Pen is xcut grain.

    Have been promising to sort some seats for the garden and have finally sorted it so hopefully I have plenty of credits to my name!! maybe even enough for a pressure pot!!! we will see. Or at least a bandsaw ?

    Garden of England Woodturners

    Today the Garden of England Woodturners had their annual open day. The morning you could hardly move with people in there. I took these in a quite spot at lunch time my stand is the first one with the blue covers on the table and shelves.

    Spring is sprung

    Don't you love when the swallows arrive, the wisteria blooms, its 28 degrees and bright sunshine; just mowed half the grass and it will soon be Easter!! Just planting the vegetable garden and the grockels are arriving hopefully in need of pens!! :love_it: PG

    It was a glorious day

    I woke up this morning with the sun pouring into the room swung open the back door to hear the birds singing wonderful thinks I a nice workshop day a few hours production a few smiffys what more could you wish for I then I lovingly take Violet in a cup of tea and my whole world come crashing...
