Pair of Mistrals in an oak burr
Evening all, the fountain pen has a Bock nib (fine) otherwise it's a normal kit. I prefer the metal to match up. The burr is from Linga Terra - otherwise known as Dave. Turning was a steady process of taking a bit off - filling in the holes - taking a bit more - filling in the holes - et al. But...- Chriscb

Found this wood in the garden ages ago.
Couldn't tell you what it is but it made quite a nice pen. I love the natural look with all the holes and divots still there.- Steve68

I have an idea for a turned piece which will require holes to be drilled around the stand eventually to have something put into them. Up until now I have managed to to get away with using a spanner on the nut behind the chuck and resting it on the bed, this allowed for either 2, 3or 6 holes to...
