    Green maple burr

Hi pen people I posted a similar pen to this in purple a little while back. This is the green version which, instead of acrylic, has ebonite threads and section. It also has an ebonite finial on the barrel. This allows me to make a compete pen from a single wooden blank (they are quite pricey)...

    Mistral pencil kit lead compatibility

Hi guys, can anyone tell me if the 0.5mm Mistral pencil kit can be changed to a 0.7mm with a new insert from Beaufort Ink? I made one for someone with 0.5mm to use for crosswords but he keeps breaking the lead. Rather than buy a new pencil to replace it I'd rather buy the 0.7mm pencil insert...

Just finished this vessel where the body is made of Birch and the insert ring made from what I think is a piece of Sapele. Finished with 6 coats of finishing oil and then buffed.

Morning, Like to share a couple of hollow forms (vases?!) of mine. The top row is Sycamore with a Cherry insert, the bottom Oak also with a Cherry insert. Both measure around 130mm high by 95mm around the middle. Designed to accept a plastic tube for water, though you can't see that very well...

    Centre finder

I ordered one of these yesterday. Proops centre finder for round bar lathes milling drilling 3 8 or 8mm spindle. M0286 I didn't think I needed one as I've used other methods before but I've had trouble recently finding the centre on some tapered bar. Hopefully it will work ok as I've made...
