    Newbie from Warwickshire

Good day, I am completely new to woodturning. I have just purchased a midi lathe, and have been busy setting it up, but as yet have not turned anything. I’m keen to get into pen turning, but not sure which mandrel to go for. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

    Slimline pen and pencil

I made these for my sister-in-law who wants them to photograph for her website. Disappointed with the pencil mechanism action

I noticed these items on sale on e bay and from what I've seen and read about it the lathe seems a good one so Im hoping that some of you out there will back me up on that one. I live in an apartment so...
