    Very troublesome platter

    Hi all, This was a piece of Oak that I picked up from my local firewood supplier. It has good figure but it was really punky in places. It was classified as not even fit to burn so I bagged it for a pint. It measures 14in diameter (the maximum my lathe will take) by 3 inches. The wood...

    Don't Laugh it HURT

    Many thanks to our NHS I had to go into one of our local hospitals today to have a skin cancer removal. The control measures within the hospital were fantastic. Well done New Cross NHS Wolverhampton ?.

    Chestnut Burr

    Finished this today from one of the chestnut burrs that I have, still two more to go. Finished with oil and measures 10 1/2" X 4"

    Yew bowl

    This Yew bowl was turned last week and then given three coats of Danish Oil and then left to dry today I finished it off by giving it a Buff. It measures 7 1/2" X 3"
