    Always a test of caution cutting this log across,the medullary rays can conceal cracks,so far with this log so good over time. Peter.:thumbs:

    Every now and again I get to cut across the grain with this timber. Every piece I have is eaten down the centre by Termites. Way back it became a very favourite timber to seek out and use. Happy with this one. Peter.:thumbs:

    Outside offcuts from different Mallee Burls, the result of slicing to get pen and other blanks. Fair bit of burning rubbish but........... a few from the top random there are most pieces of great value to me. Peter.:thumbs:
