    I have some ali bar which I was given. it has sat in my blank draw for quite some time OK like many of my blanks:whistling: So Ali on a gold Tempest. I was going to go for the full shine but decided it would have been just too much with the gold so went with a brushed effect, I am glad I did go...

    Failed Knife

    I turned a letter opener but it got spoiled when I sprayed it with melamine lacquer. The pyrography usually separates the colours, but this time the green and yellow mingled quite badly. I'm wondering if it would be better to go down the acrylic route with acrylic sanding sealer and acrylic...

    Holly Tree wood

    Anyone turned a holly, my neighbour has a huge holly tree that is rotten near the base. He is contacting the council about taking it down, we have to go this route as all the trees have Tree Preservation Orders on them. I was thinking of getting my hands on some.
