    Another Burnishing question

    With pen blanks not giving tons of shavings is it OK to use shavings from a different type of wood? In other words If I am doing an oak pen can I mix the shavings with walnut or beach when burnishing?

    Resin shavings

    Hi - I'm a new member and I've been pen turning for 6mths. Does anyone have use for the resin shavings from a few different coloured blanks. I don't intend to make my own blanks due to limited space, but if anyone can make use of my shavings let me know. Maybe I can swap them for a blank or two.
