siroccos

Have been busy making a batch of Siroccos, I thought I would share them.

Hi guys......sorry more horrible blanks to look at.... Another batch from Mik Lawrence, two Shakespeare blanks and loads of Sirocco/ Sierra blanks.....if only someone was doing a deal on Sirocco's soon....pretty soon... These Sirocco's are colour shifting and just rolling in your hand they are...

I had picked up a bunch of different blanks from southernpendesigns on Etsy and paired them with some Siroccos just to see... ...The first is Gun Metal/Gold on a "Black Gold 31" blank ...This one is Brushed Copper dressed with "Black Gold #3" ...Brushed Pewter and "Mercury 21" ...And Gun...

So I may have had a bit of a stash of Siroccos here... I have some Mistrals and Tempests on the way as well but needed some examples of some of my blanks so I turned these the other day. I'm not a huge fan of black plating on my own pens but I think the color combos work on these.

As a follow-up to the Mistral a few days ago, here are two Siroccos. One black, Gun Metal/Chrome, each with the same Diamond Cast blank. These were actually cut-offs from a custom pen I was building and they were long enough to try out on two different kit platings. Photos are not good, and...

After a little sojourn into polymer clay, here are a few Siroccos. Black Chrome in spalted birch, upgrade gold & gunmetal in elm and chrome & gunmetal in bog oak.
