    Two slimline finished in melamine. One is made from oak & the other from tulip wood. Kits & blanks donated by Woody.

    Hi all, Try number 2 failed, but this time it failed further along in the making. I didn't even swear - honest, and I was so gentle with it . I am not quite sure what the wood is, but I think it's a form treated tulip. It smells of burning when being sawn or turned. Try number 3 tomorrow. I...

    knocking on heavens door

    Well a knock at the door sent me to heaven again. Some great pieces of wood including oak, beech, mahogany, sapele, tulip wood and some which I think is cherry maybe someone can tell me if I am right.

    I know but yet again another call can I go and pick up some wood more Oak, Tulip wood, walnut, and beech and it is all quite large stuff.
