    I am still working on models but only the tractor now that the truck and loco are finished. The last few days have been dedicated to making the wheels for the tractor. The third and forth photos are the front wheels. I only need two but will see which are the best ones. The rest is some of...

    Going Loco

    Well, the loco is, at last, finished all except some rails for it to sit on. Plenty of turning in this one either single pieces or multiples like the wheels.

    Hello, all (but especially those of you who work in a kitless format). I am anxious to learn some basic techniques to add rings to kitless turned pens. I have ideas about possibilities...but I am too old and tired tonight to reinvent any wheels! Any of you who have skills you might be willing...

    After a week of making a jig I have now completed the front wheels for the half track I am working on. As I enjoy making wooden toys/models it will not go to waste. A quick pic of the jig and then the wheels followed by one of them dry fitted to the chassis, I lost count of the number of parts...
