    Christmas Pressie 1...Cantilever Sewing Box

    So as promised pics from non-pen making. I've been a busy with Crimbo pressies hence no pens.....this is pressie No.1 for my wife. It's made from Zebrano she chose on our way back from Devon via Yandles... I made a 2/3rd prototype out of MDF, to get the design right then made the final piece...

    So my daughters 18th is at the end of the month and she choose a design, she's not seen this and I'm sure she doesn't follow the forum! I made her a solitaire board for Christmas from a piece of teak she chose at Yandles on our way back from hols and there was some left so here's her pen...

    New Bandsaw - Record Sabre 350

    Well I took the plunge and invested in a bandsaw. :banana: I went for the new Record Power Sabre 350 14" from Yandles and what a good choice it was. The adjustment is easy and appears to be spot on. Power appears to ample for the 28cm max cut . The only bad point is it comes in a single box...
