Turned out fantastic Don, a job well done from me. Not as easy as some people may think

They look amazing Don - you should be extremely proud of you yourself. I think that in 100 years time they will still be being unwrapped from their tissue paper every year and be an integral part of your family's Christmas.

Thanks Phil,
Unfortunately my family won't be seeing it.
I found in another forum, an appeal from a chap for someone who would finish a project. Not being too busy at the time I volunteered to have a look.He sent some pics. from a magazine of the finished article and I quite liked the look of it. He said his Uncle was making this project up but had died suddenly and now Greg would like the job finished as a keepsake for his Aunt. I volunteered and the rest , as they say, is history.
I hope they like it.

take care
Don W
PS Almost 6 months on and off working on it Due to the weather it was more off than on and I refuse to be rushed. :violin:
