I decided to get a bit of practice in on the scroll saw as I hadnt cut anything for a long time. This pattern is the first piece, which is more of a practice piece than anything.
The pattern incorporates a Triqueta into a Triskele ( the 3 spirals )
The Triskele can be seen carved into the stones at the Newgrange burial tomb at Meath, S. Ireland, which was constructed around 5200 years ago and predates the Pyramids, though the symbol was known all over the ancient world. IMG_0183.JPG
