Hi guys,

I have started to turn wooden bowls. This is my first attempt. Its a piece of chestnut, cut from a plank I bought some years ago. It’s different way of turning compared to pen making. I did some bowl turning at school, that's some 58 years ago and we had to make our own wood turning gouges in the forge.

It’s 140 x 45 deep, finished with sealant and hard wax.
