I had a look at various utube last night and saw different results..
According to instructions I have pen blanks are two different lengths. However I noticed when inserting the refill that it goes past where we would normally stop for a slim or streamline.
Whereas on some videos it stops at the same place.
Question is could you use a standard size blank cut for a slimline or streamline kit to make a modified version of the European pen??

I think from memory that the European uses a longer lower blank if so then No is the answer.... If you only have some pre cut blanks and you want to utilise a set then, just glue a small contrasting block on either end to increase the lower sections length....

Maybe describe it incorrectly. On the twist mechanism about a third of the way up there is a line you go up to for mechanism and then test it. That leaves about 15mm between the line and the crimped part. On a European pen you have to go half way between the two to have your refill to come out....
If that makes sense.....

Yes, it means the lower tube is longer, as the refill isn't inserted as far in.
