Finally branched out from the slimline and done a cigar pen for the wife

Used a acrylic blank from charnwood and cigar kit from charnwood.

Turrned with cheap carbide tools and sanded with mesh upto 12,000 then polished with automotive Polish and then ceramic coated.

I'll be looking at selling these in our little craft shop is a cigar pen a good retail pen or would I be better looking elsewhere.

Second pen is a slimline made with Irish bog oak and finished with friction Polish and microcrystaline wax and then the box engraved for a customer.

Critique welcomed

Yeah bud it's very unforgiving I have thought about going down the stabilising route but I'll keep thinking for now ha.

Not far away from myself are you bud
I'm not sure if stabilising would be of benefit to Bog oak as it is normally used to stabilise punky timbers, though I'm no expert on it as I have never used it. Instead I would use CA glue if there are a lot of fissures.
What part of Donegal do you hail from? My forebears on my Mother's side came from Donegal and my Grandfather ministered in Kilmacrennan.
