I used to shoot black powder rifles but don't ever remember seeing a powder horn configured like the one you show. I remember the big end having a plug to fill the horn with and another at the tip for pouring. I don't remember seeing any with the side plug. How does he use that one given the small metal end doesn't look like it comes off? Pour from the big end and fill from the side?

You got it top plug to fill the horn side plug for pouring it was a good project
