I'm fairly new to kit pen making and with pride I kept my first... erm muck up!
But what do you do with the second and err third?

It wasn't the pen kits fault, It was my inexperience and rush to see what I can do.
So with some.. badly made kits in hand I took them back into the workshop.
Armed with only a cheap set of transfer punches, a hammer and some patience I managed to deconstruct them. Sourced some copper tube and had another go.

This is the first kit to be resurrected.

Love that, shows what you can do when you put your mind to it.

Excellent recovery and a great looking pen to finish as well.

On some that are recovered it just sits there shouting at you to remind you what a cock up you made, but this sits silent, graceful and dignified in all its glory. Well done.
